Apart from being accepted and now studying Medicine at Imperial College, which is ranked top ten of world's best universities, (after already finishing a 3 year degree in Biochemistry and Forensic Science), my little brother is also somewhat of a musical genius, playing both the guitar and the piano. Here's a clip of him playing at my Mum's house last week - totally unaware of me filming.
As Sean is totally in awe of him, I'm hoping he will follow in his uncle's footsteps! No pressure there my son! LOL!

Fave Whitney tune
This is how I would like to remember her
My favourite Whitney Houston song of all times is undoubtedly this! I remember being a young girl dancing and singing this at the top of my lungs in front of the mirror, pretending the song was about my big crush at school (“How Will I Know if He Really Loves Me?!). Even now at this age, I can't sit still when I hear it! LOL :-)
Sunny Sunday @ Stoke Park
Cool l'il dude in the Winter sunshine, very excited to be going swimming with Daddy at our country club!
Delicious lunch was served - always top class at Stoke Park! (veal in this case) |
Today Sean first enjoyed splash time in the pool, followed by chicken nuggets for lunch, and then a session in the outdoor playground.
Sean stopped his midday nap quite a while back, but he was obviously a little tired after all the activities, and had a doze on the way home! |

Our week so far, in pictures
On Monday morning Sean and I headed off to meet my brother for breakfast in Spitalfields Market
Sean was in a jolly mood and showed off some of his dance moves as we strolled on the streets of East London
After breakfast we went back to Erik's flat where Sean was keen to try his uncle's new guitar
We also met up with Andrea and her son Harry at the leisure centre in Swiss cottage
We intended to go to their soft play area with the boys but couldn't get in as it was full of kiddies on half term
Instead we took them to a outdoor playground, just outside the leisure centre
We then walked to the O2 centre on Finchely Road were we had lunch and walked around the mall (read; hand in hand! lol)
Adozen long stem red roses on Valentine's day
One afternoon I met up with Anna at the Arch Hotel...
..were we had a traditional Champagne Afternoon Tea
...and shared lot's of laughters, cakes, sandwiches and way too much bubbly! :-)

Happy Valentine's
To my joy, my husband, my eternal Valentine that is, is working from home today ♥ |
The first to apologise is the bravest. The first to forgive is the strongest. The first to move forward is the happiest. Be brave. Be strong. Be happy.
Happy Valentine's Day!
Bear's bday lunch at Signor Sassi
On Thursday Bear took the day off work as it was his birthday (he always does!), and together with Sean we went to Signor Sassi in Knightsbridge |
We had a table booked for 2pm to avoid the main lunch rush, to get better service and to try and avoid people getting annoyed with the fact that you are bringing a toddler to a high-end restaurant |
The timing was perfect with most people leaving as we arrived. The food was really superb, and the waiters were really attentive and child friendly |
I don't usually eat dessert, but treated myself to a Tiramisu, which I didn't regret - it turned out to be the best one I've ever tasted! |
After two courses, a bottle of Champagne, coffee, cognac and an expanded waistline. we decided to walk back home |
We chose to go through Hyde Park (and walk past One Hyde Park to check out the most expensive property in the world!) |
The Serpentine Lake wasn't frozen despite it being so cold (freezing temperatures which is pretty rare in London), but it looked so beautiful and serene with the mist above it |
We also saw a few squirrels along the way although Sean wasn't too keen as they come up real close and are completely unafraid |
