Sunday in Dalston

On Sunday we drove to the impossibly hip and up and coming area of Dalston/Hackney, where my brother resides these days.
We had lunch at a place which is only accessible from the Regent's Canal towpath, and where ducks, passing cyclists and dog-walkers are excellent entertainment (especially as one guy and his Boris bike had an accident which resulted in him falling in the water right next to us!)  
After lunch we strolled over to the Swedish bakery Fabrique for coffee with delicious cinnamon and cardamon buns. Us Swedes really do seem to get everywhere, LOL!

Sunday barbecue

What better way to spend the hottest day of the year eating, drinking wine and chatting away with good friends in their beautifully manicured garden, whilst watching the kids play? 

Date night

In the 'Screen on Baker Street' cinema with hubby, about to watch Richard Gere in new movie Arbitrage.
Thanks to my lil brother Erik, who's combining studying for his medical school final exam, with baby sitting for his adoring nephew :-)

Happy Valentine's

 

Hubby spiced up my day with a ring, one hundred red roses and perfume :-)
