London Pride 2013

As we do every year, we joined the carnival atmosphere at the Pride march through central London. A lively colourful, noisy affair in the sunshine was enjoyed by all, and we were able to show our support for equality. Afterwards we grabbed some lunch at the very busy; St. Christopher's Place - the perfect people watching spot

Endorphins release, Ellie Goulding & new trainers

'Hanging On' is the latest addition to my Power-Walk playlist on Spotify
With sunshine pouring through our bedroom windows, I decided to start this Monday morning with a 5k power walk, getting the blood flowing.

It's such a great way to amp up the energy levels!  Nonetheless, after four(!) years with the same trainers, I am now beginning to feel and see just how tired these running shoes are. Time to get new ones me think, and these pink and black ones are high on my wish list.

Snowy Sunday

Last time we had settling white powder in the capital was around the beginning of last year, so guess if lil man (well.. mummy and daddy too!) were excited when we woke up yesterday morning, peaked out the window and saw thick snow?!
Its a very rare sight in central London!

We wrapped up warm, put on Sean his ski suit and and packed him off into the snow... and boy what a delightfully fun afternoon we had :-) Oh, see if you can spot the vintage classic Jaguar covered in snow - stunning isn't' it?!

Green with envy?

Jealous of my gorgeous new military green viscose shirt/blouse with golden studs on the front pockets and collar? Well don't be - it's only £12 at Primark! :-)

Camden

Sometimes it's fun to be a tourist in your home town :-) As we had visitors, we spent Sunday at Camden Market - a must if you haven't been!

Notting Hill

Most Wednesdays (with Sean at nursery school all day and Bear not going in to the office), as part of our midweek quality time, we always try to do something nice together.
Today as the sun was out, we drove with the roof down to Notting Hill and indulged in yummy sushi (Seared Tuna Sashimi on the picture being my favourite).

Rainy playdate

Thursday's play date with Sean's best friend Nicholas (and his mum Anna, who also happens to be my very good friend), was diverted to Mc Donalds...
...as it was chucking it down all over the capital....

We then went back to theirs, where Anna gave Sean an all over trim with clippers. This was the first time that anyone, other than my Mum, has given him a haircut! So now his hair is nice and short for the Summer - well, let's hope we get one, eh?! lol

Our Wednesday morning

This morning, after dropping Sean off at nursery, Bear, Mum and I drove with the roof down to Chiswick in West London to view a house for sale.  We then stopped at High Road Brasserie (part of Soho House Group) for a brunch in the sunshine. Midweek quality time, indeed :-)
